Case Study 3: Moving Swimming Pool Floor Bury St Edmunds

The following photographs are of the recently installed moving swimming pool floor and fixed bulkhead commissioned for the newly refurbished Bury St. Edmunds Leisure Centre.

A 33m pool has been converted into a 25m competition pool complete with fixed bulkhead incorporating electronics for timing pads and starting blocks. At the deep end of the pool there is now a moving floor enabling many other activities to take place as the water depth can be predetermined to suit that particular activity.
